Cinnamyl alcohol is an organic fragrance compound that is found in esterified form in storax, Balsam of Peru, and cinnamon leaves. It has a warm-balsamic, floral-hyacinth and rose, sweet, powerdry, mild almonds. It is widely used in perfume compositions, including many low-cost floral fragrances, soap perfumes.
